Secure Cellular Communication
In prison and other high-security facilities, cellular suppression technologies serve to eliminate unwarranted or unauthorized mobile signals without jamming all units.
11i Solutions specializes in the selective suppression of wireless devices to ensure security and compliance regulations are met without eliminating signals for authorized personnel. Its services work in a wide range of facilities including both indoor and outdoor areas.
With 11i Solutions’ suppression technology in place, cell phone activity can be secured up to levels approved for classified environments. It can be deployed enterprise-wide or within isolated network enclaves, such as a tactical environment. This allows your organization to detect and deter unauthorized wireless usage, increasing security and compliance.
11i Solutions offers two types of wireless mobile suppression: voice suppression and data suppression. These two types allow you to block all unwanted communications and heighten security across operations in the most appropriate manner possible.
Selective voice suppression gives authorities the power to eliminate unwanted phone conversations from taking place without jamming all signals. 11i Solutions specializes in this advanced technology that has revolutionized wireless policies in prisons and other high-security areas. With selective data suppression, organizations are better protected against information leaks, unauthorized use of messaging services and other unpredictable information issues without jamming all signals.
Selective suppression acts as an intelligent gatekeeper platform that allows local and remote administrators to determine how commercial cellular wireless network resources are utilized in a given environment or secured geographic area. This allows it to serve as an alternative to universal jamming, and it permits for configurations that allow only emergency calls to be placed. Access is controlled based on individual and group lists, effectively extending physical security controls to the wireless realm.
The system also provides continuous monitoring and recording of all wireless activity and reports anomalies to security personnel. It inventories and monitors all connected calls, and IMSI/TMSI Detach Unauthorized calls are sent directly to Voicemail. A database tracks users marked as “known good” or “known bad” to ensure that the appropriate calls are suppressed.
Supported frequencies include GSM/GPRS – 800/900/1800/1900 MHz bands; CDMA 450/800/1900 MHz bands; UMTS 1700/2100 MHz bands; and 700 MHz former analog TV bands.
